The short answer
Respona now sells link building as a done-for-you service, priced per placement from $100 a link. If you want to run outreach yourself in software, as Respona's app used to allow, Pink Post is a self-serve alternative from $19 a month with sequences, a reply inbox, a deal pipeline and live link checks.
What Respona is
Respona started as an all-in-one outreach platform for link building and digital PR. Its pricing page now lists a done-for-you link building service: their team finds sites, pitches, writes and publishes, and you pay per placement. Listed prices are $100 (DR 20+), $160 (DR 30+), $240 (DR 40+), $400 (DR 50+) and $500 (DR 60+), with a 28-day standard turnaround.
Why people look for a Respona alternative
You want to do the outreach yourself
Many link builders sell placements themselves, or want control over which sites they pitch and what they write. A service does not give that control.
Cost at volume
At $100–$500 per link, 20 links a month is $2,000–$10,000. Running your own outreach costs the software plus your time.
Your relationships
When you pitch from your own mailbox, the relationship with each editor stays with you for the next deal.
What Respona does well
- Hands-off: no outreach work on your side
- Clear price per placement by domain rating
- A team that writes and publishes the content

Which one should you choose?
Choose Respona if
- You want links without doing any outreach
- Your budget per link is predictable and $100+ is fine
- You do not want to write guest posts
Choose Pink Post if
- You do outreach yourself or for clients
- You want to keep relationships with editors
- You want to pay a flat monthly price, not per link
- You are an agency reselling placements
What the same workflow looks like in Pink Post
Here is how a typical guest post campaign runs in Pink Post, so you can compare it with your current Respona setup step by step.
1. Build and clean the list
Export a list of sites from Ahrefs, Semrush or a Google "write for us" search and import it as CSV or a synced Google Sheet. Pink Post maps the columns, skips duplicates and blocklisted domains, and checks each address for valid syntax and a working MX record, so bounces stay low.
2. Choose a playbook
Pick the guest post, link insertion, broken link, resource page, skyscraper or partnership playbook. Each one has a first email and follow-ups you can edit, with placeholders such as first name and site that fall back to a default when a field is empty.
3. Send without burning a domain
Pink Post rotates emails to whichever mailbox has used the smallest share of its daily limit, keeps follow-ups in the original thread, waits a random 90–300 seconds between sends and pauses a campaign automatically if bounces pass 5%.
4. Answer replies and agree a price
Replies from every mailbox land in one inbox. Messages that mention a price or fee are labelled negotiating, so paid placement offers are easy to find. Move each conversation to Negotiating and then Deal done with the agreed price.
5. Keep checking the link
Once the post is live, mark the deal Link live. Pink Post re-fetches the page on a schedule, and if your URL disappears the deal is flagged as missing so you can ask the editor to restore it.
What it costs over a year
Buying 10 DR 40+ placements a month from Respona at $240 each is $2,400 a month, or $28,800 a year. Running the outreach yourself costs Pink Post Pro at $384 a year plus your time and any fees sites charge. Many link builders combine the two: a service for hard-to-reach sites, and their own outreach for the rest.
How to switch from Respona to Pink Post
- Export your contacts. Export prospects and contacts as CSV from your current tool.
- Import to Pink Post. Upload the CSV, map columns (email, first name, site, custom fields) and let Pink Post dedupe and verify the list.
- Connect your mailboxes. Add the same Gmail, Outlook or SMTP/IMAP mailboxes you used before; your sending history stays with your domain.
- Rebuild sequences. Start from a link-building playbook or paste your existing templates; {{first_name|there}} style placeholders support fallbacks.
- Move open deals. Add deals you are still negotiating to the pipeline with their price and stage, and mark live links so they are checked.
