The short answer
Lemlist is a multichannel sales outreach platform. A Lemlist alternative for link building should focus on sites, pitches and links instead of sales leads. Pink Post does that from $19 a month; Lemlist's Email plan starts at $69 a month ($55 yearly).
What Lemlist is
Lemlist is a sales engagement platform for email, LinkedIn, calls and WhatsApp, with a large lead database. Its Email plan is $69/month ($55/month yearly) with unlimited users and senders; Multichannel Expert is $109 per user per month ($87 yearly), per lemlist.com/pricing.
Why people look for a Lemlist alternative
Built for sales, not links
Lemlist tracks leads and meetings, not guest posts, prices per link or live links.
Price
The entry Email plan is $69 a month; link builders pay for multichannel and lead data they may not use.
Per-user pricing on multichannel
Multichannel Expert is priced per user.
What Lemlist does well
- Multichannel sequences across email and LinkedIn
- Strong personalisation, including images
- A built-in lead database

Lemlist's cold outreach features, explained
Multichannel sequences
Lemlist sequences can mix emails with LinkedIn visits, invitations and messages, calls and WhatsApp steps. That is valuable for sales prospecting, where a decision-maker may answer on LinkedIn rather than email. Editors and bloggers mostly answer email, so link builders rarely use the extra channels.
Personalisation
Lemlist is known for personalised images and landing pages generated per lead, alongside text variables. For a guest post pitch, a specific reference to the editor's article matters more than a custom image.
Lead database
Lemlist includes a B2B lead database for finding people by role and company. It is built for sales targeting (job titles, company size), not for finding sites that accept guest posts.
Deliverability
Lemlist includes warm-up and sending limits. Pink Post has the same essentials: rotation, a warm-up ramp from 5 a day, daily and hourly caps, random delays and a bounce auto-pause.
Lemlist pricing explained
Lemlist's Email plan is $69 a month, or $55 a month billed yearly, and includes unlimited users and senders. Multichannel Expert, which adds LinkedIn, calls and WhatsApp, is $109 per user per month, or $87 billed yearly (lemlist.com/pricing, 25 October 2026). Lemlist does not publish a price for 50,000 emails a month, so we compare Pink Post with the entry Email plan only. For link building, Pink Post Pro at $39 a month ($32 yearly) is 43% below Lemlist Email, and Solo at $19 a month covers a freelancer with 3 mailboxes.
Which one should you choose?
Choose Lemlist if
- You do sales outreach across email and LinkedIn
- You need a lead database
Choose Pink Post if
- You build links rather than book meetings
- You want link deals, prices and live link checks
- You want a lower monthly price
What the same workflow looks like in Pink Post
Here is how a typical guest post campaign runs in Pink Post, so you can compare it with your current Lemlist setup step by step.
1. Build and clean the list
Export a list of sites from Ahrefs, Semrush or a Google "write for us" search and import it as CSV or a synced Google Sheet. Pink Post maps the columns, skips duplicates and blocklisted domains, and checks each address for valid syntax and a working MX record, so bounces stay low.
2. Choose a playbook
Pick the guest post, link insertion, broken link, resource page, skyscraper or partnership playbook. Each one has a first email and follow-ups you can edit, with placeholders such as first name and site that fall back to a default when a field is empty.
3. Send without burning a domain
Pink Post rotates emails to whichever mailbox has used the smallest share of its daily limit, keeps follow-ups in the original thread, waits a random 90–300 seconds between sends and pauses a campaign automatically if bounces pass 5%.
4. Answer replies and agree a price
Replies from every mailbox land in one inbox. Messages that mention a price or fee are labelled negotiating, so paid placement offers are easy to find. Move each conversation to Negotiating and then Deal done with the agreed price.
5. Keep checking the link
Once the post is live, mark the deal Link live. Pink Post re-fetches the page on a schedule, and if your URL disappears the deal is flagged as missing so you can ask the editor to restore it.
What it costs over a year
Lemlist Email on yearly billing is $660 a year. Pink Post Pro is $384 a year, and Solo $192, for link building with deal tracking included.
How to switch from Lemlist to Pink Post
- Export your contacts. Export prospects and contacts as CSV from your current tool.
- Import to Pink Post. Upload the CSV, map columns (email, first name, site, custom fields) and let Pink Post dedupe and verify the list.
- Connect your mailboxes. Add the same Gmail, Outlook or SMTP/IMAP mailboxes you used before; your sending history stays with your domain.
- Rebuild sequences. Start from a link-building playbook or paste your existing templates; {{first_name|there}} style placeholders support fallbacks.
- Move open deals. Add deals you are still negotiating to the pipeline with their price and stage, and mark live links so they are checked.
